Roller shutters, are the most adaptable of all the different types of industrial doors and shutters available.  They can be made from wood, steel, plastic or aluminium.  They can be manually operated or electrically operated by a multitude of activitators - Key switch or hand held transmitter being the most common, with induction loops and radar following close behind. Doors and Shutters available are:

Roller Shutters, Sectional Overhead Doors, Fire Shutters, Fire Doors.  Steel Doors, Fire Exit Doors, Collapsible Gates, Folding shutters, Garage Doors, Aluminium Glazed Doors and Aluminium Shop Fronts, and many more variations on the standard themes.

Standard Electrically Operated Shutter

To the right you will see a standard electrically operated roller shutter. In this example, the shutter is in a garaged door situation.  The laths which make up the shutter curtain are constructed of 22 gauge galvanised steel, with a covering of powdercoating.  Powdercoating is an oven process whereby the protective and aesthetically pleasing outer surface of the shutter is baked on.

Aluminium Glazed Door

To the left you will see a standard aluminium shop front glazed door.  The benefits of this type of door are plain to see.  As well as being pleasing to the eye, the door is constructed, in this case, from aluminium sections so formed to give a strong and robust door with clean cut lines.  The glazed panels are composed of 6.5mm double glazing.  In most cases a transom closer (automatic closer hidden in the door) is fitted, along with a seven lever dead lock

Steel Door

Steel doors, like the one shown to the right, have a number of uses.  As well as the obvious security aspect, Steel doors are used in fire exit situations, and have numerous options with regard to hardware and furniture.  For example, as well as the panic bar shown, it is possible to have a entrance only lock fitted.  That is, the door can be fitted as a fire door from inside the building, but still allow key access from outside the building.  As with all our products, intruder alarms can be fitted.

Sectional Overhead Door

Sectional Overhead Doors offer the benefits of thermal insulation as well as the benefits of a roller shutter door.  That is, the 'sectional' door lifts out of the way to allow access, and gives the security required when the door is shut.  Again, as in roller shutters, the door may be manually operated as well as electrically operated
